I thought unlike Ebola, COVID doesn't live on in a host's corpse?

What do I know though?

You obviously know nothing

[03/04, 2:24 pm] +234 803 077 8869: Covid-19 Update in Kwara: See What is Happening in UITH
https://cdn-af.feednews.com/news/detail/b89561ea0098c70c65bd02c5128057ec

The corpse should not have been released by UITH for the family without proper investigation. This is how we kill ourselves in this country. Now many people had exposed themselves to it, both the family, health workers and well wishers.
Now they had buried him, think about the large numbers of people who would attend his burial(janazah), many people who will continue paying condolence visit to his already infected family( wife, kids, others). This is scary, I think the kwara state govt has a lot to offer on this issue before it gets out of hand...may God protect us all.

Na still the same thing, northern Muslims no first dey do burial ceremony like the south. They burial their dead immediately with few family members present as at the time of death, far away family members don't get to see their corpse. So its still the same thing

Smh. That is why one must not joke with the virus. My family friend in New York was cremated in the absense of his family. His family couldn't even do a proper funeral for him.
Guys guys stop giving false info. Americans value burials the way we do in Nigeria. You cannot cremate an American without the family consent, they will sue to high heaven.
You think this government can cremate or bury a VIP body.
I will try and include a photo of a corona victim burial with the family

What happened to the corpse of the former ppmc boss? Stupid government. If it's elite he'll be released to his family. Nigeria laws are always for the poor.

In the US, all or most of victims of COVID-19 are govt properties. Receive sense

so, is he suppose to reveal that at this moment? you have too much sense I guess, oponu!

They may be right..
Nigerian big men and politician are scaring, because they dont know that future will tell about this virus. One, they cant travel to oversea for treatment. two, if this virus have it way into masses they know that they are not safe. Thats why they are forcing Nigerian to stay indoor and harrassing anybody outside with the military force.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if a family member gets infected and taken away for quarantine?

Have you?

Has it occurred to you that the family might not be allowed outside their house, talk more of going to the quarantine center to look after the infected one?

Do you know that when an infected person dies, the government takes charge of disposal, which is likely to be by cremation (burning to ashes)?

That is to say, from the time they are taken away for quarantine, the family might not get to see them again, except they recover.

You don't know all these?

Because if you do, you'd take all available measures to protect yourself and your family members.

Don't listen to anybody telling you that people who talk against your going to church, parties, social functions etc at this critical time are anti-Christs.

We are in this together.

Take all practicable measures to stay safe.

He didn’t die at home...

The article linked below breaking the news of his death contains a family statement that he died at the specialist hospital. We shouldn’t be encouraging people (poor or rich) not to follow basic laws or rules and regulations. That’s why this country is often referred to as a Zoo.

http://saharareporters.com/2020/03/23/breaking-family-confirms-death-ex-ppmc-managing-director-achimugu-coronavirus

PS: Btw, if this directive is flouted for the rich, it will only harm them because Covid-19 infection respects no wallet or class divide.
