A Twitter user gave this info following the death of a man who was confirmed to be positive with Corona virus. According to the popular online doc known as @Drolufunmilayo, the patient went to the A &. E of Luth complaining of just tiredness/fever.



Please don't go to hospitals, call @NCDC. Now this man has infected both health workers and patients.

So as serious as the situation has become.... you mean LUTH does not check for COVID before admitting patients? really?

No kit

I was at the hospital yesterday In ondo and I was displeased, even though as at yesterday there has not been a single recorded case of corona virus but the attitude towards the virus was lackadaisical.

Eateries and banks were more proactive than they were yesterday.


Anyway luth its the way forward now, the law can come later.

You see the lapses in our health sector? A patient with Covid'19 will definitely present symptoms in a matter of minutes(how long can anyone hide cough reflex?). Now they want to hold on the fact that the family lied? It makes no sense to me and it's very unprofessional of those who handled that case. At this critical time of our existence, every body that goes to any medical facility around the country is a suspected Covid'19 patient and should be treated as such untill proven otherwise.

The other day a report was made about a patient/patients who visited a hospital, and was turned back, and like a tsunami, all of you erupted in condemnation of the hospital and its staff. Some even called for the hospital to be shut down for not attending to the patient before sending him/ them away!
Now, we're seeing the opposite of that action, and you hopeless hypocrites are on the complainant's box again! What's wrong with Nigerians?

Did they tell you they were treating or evaluating the patient? Don't you first explore a patient's symptoms before deciding on a possible diagnosis? Should they have done that while sitting at home?
Btw, do you even know what it looks like working in a government hospital in Nigeria? Do you know that most government hospitals don't have a single hand glove, and face mask, except in the theatre, even when there was no scarcity/price hike?? You would be dreaming if you expected those guys on duty to have been on full PPE! Where did they see PPE??
When those guys go on strike, all you stupid ones will let loose you untrained tongues to curse them, without knowing what they go through. Your government and it's hospitals are pure shit, with absolutely no investment in healthcare.
Do you know that the monthly hazard allowance of Nigeria health workers is a meagre #5000, and that includes those guys who exposed themselves to the infected patient? Shouldn't you have had some words of encouragement for them?.
