What has really gone wrong with our soldiers? The mandates given to them to enforce covid- 19 movements restrictions does not include killings of violators.

Why pulling the trigger in Warri? Because someone flout the order. Ninety two of them were ambushed and killed by BH, I think they should be more preoccupied with reprisals not shooting innocent civilians.

By the way, what happened to those soldiers led by a captain to killed some policemen on official assignment?

Nigeria soldiers does not understand simple rule of engagement when dealing with civilians.

People that escaped covid-19 should not be killed by soldiers, somebody should www.larryhoeviews..com

You are suffering from selective amnesia grin

Where were you when the same brutes murdered hundreds of peaceful protesters in Umuahia, Onitsha and Aba. You chose to act deaf and dumb then only to wake up suddenly because they repeated same in Warri?

Let's wait to see how DSP. Ovie Omo agege will come and support them.

Nigerian soldiers "DO" not understand simple rules of engagement. Thank me later for the correction.

As someone once said, soldiers are mostly trained to shoot the head, chest or any vital organ of yours that can kill you easily or instantly! The problem comes from their training orientation. Sort out their training or penalize them heavily for unreasonable acts like this...

Trained soldiers don't pull out a gun in a situation where the other person doesn't have one. Most soldiers in the world know this apart from ours.

Because he didnt speak then doesn't mean he shouldn't speak now.
Meanwhile, how sure are you he didn't speak then?

Well said dear, and it's applicable to police too. They should use teargas and batten, and in some occasions use water spray.

Its funny how some Nigerians chose to forget this when the Nigerian Army was shooting unarmed IPOB members.

Some Nigerians even praised their Nigerian Army for committing the crime of extra-judicial murder of IPOB members.

Thats the hypocrisy of a Nigerian who chooses when and where to condemn or support injustice

Many of these useless soldiers are not even educated. Many do not have ordinary WAEC - they mostly use forged certificates to meet the basic recruitment requirement. How do you expect uneducated societal rejects like these to understand simple rules of engagement?

Most of them were jobless village walkabouts, cattle rearers, hawkers, etc before one Emir or Oba or 'big man' from their community used connections to throw them into the armed forces. Being hitherto worthless nonentities and never do wells for whom joining the military was their only redeeming validation, these fools easily get overwhelmed with their khaki 'status' and then get power drunk.

shocked

The only English an aboki soldiers understand is shoot.

A northern recruit in the army can't spell his name how do you expect him/her to know nd understand what rule of engagement is.

Beside how do u expect a so called repented boko haram in the army to carry out rule of engagement when he knows that he won't be fired or punished cos when they do he will go back nd join Boko Haram.

Anyway Nigeria don't have military, what they have is terrorists(Recruits/non commissioned officers) or politicians in uniform(Commissioned officer)

You will hardly hear of army brutality in the north because almost all well behaved southern soldiers ar posted to the north.
The only way to stop military brutality to civilians is to have regional army.

Stark's War by John G. Hemry should be recorded by every soldier to read nd summarize before passing out

I am saying that 90% of them are not well trained and well informed of their duties.

I agree with you. It is simply because most of these low ranking soldiers are illiterates. They can't take initiatives or use their discretion to handle simple situation.
