NaijaRoyalty:You do not have to smell any recession cos it's here already. Nigerian govt is broke. unfortunately, the loan they were planning to secure last year won't get to them due to the impending global recession. I hope they survive payments of salary at the federal level. |

The only way to truly distribute this money is through BVN. But we all know what will happen. The senate will approve the N500 billion intervention fund at the end of the day; 1. N50bn will be deducted as approval allowance by the senate. 3. N50bn will be shared among committee members raised by the FG to discuss how to spend the money (- the N500bn). 3. The committee will come up with a plan which is to pay a contractor the sum of N400bn to import bags of rice and groundnut oil and distribute to 4. Of course, the Chairman of the committee gets the contracts even if he has to register a new shipping business immediately. 5. Before distribution, more than N300bn will disappear to private pockets. 6. By the time the products get to the state and local governments, more than N450bn of the so called N500bn intervention fund must have gone to thin air. These ediots know what to do to break the evil chain of absolute corruption, bureaucracy and wickedness. There is no single family affected by Covid-19 in Nigeria without BVN. Approve the damn money and send to CBN to collate the necessary BVN data. You'll not only kill corruption, you would also be able to eliminate stress and bottlenecks. 1 Like |

What is intervention doing with fund or N500 billion. No money was shared among citizens during sit at home, Covid 19 death recorded are Nigerians base in UK and they are making it sound as if they are living in Nigeria. Only one among the four, died in Nigeria and is also a UK returnee. My question, will this fund be share among citizens or use to rehabilitate our health sector?. Long live federal republic of Nigeria. Long live Nigerians. We shall all overcome this pandemic in Jesus name. |

How is Sanwo-Olu effectively managing this crisis in a populated state as Lagos and not coming out daily to ask for preposterous funds? If that guy asks for 20 Billion, I'd say give it to him at least you can see structures and aids pit in place even though you say he's stealing. These other ones just want to store up their barns because they're not sure of the economy after this whole crisis. The trust in our government is like a broken glass. |
