1. It’s not gonna start WW3 or cause the collapse of civilization. Fear mongering of this kind is just as dangerous as the virus itself.

2. No, it’s not just another strain of the flu. It’s far more contagious.

3. It wasn’t a bio weapon made by the US military to attack China. Anyone who actually believes this is a lunatic.

4. It wasn’t a Chinese bio weapon either.

5. The cause was simply poor hygiene at a live animal market in Wuhan.

6. Not everyone who looks Asian has the virus.
This should be a no brainer, but unfortunately stupidity is also a virus.
At this point there are more Europeans and Americans who have it than Asians.

7. Staying home unless you absolutely need to go out for groceries and other things is crucial to stop it from spreading. However, you can still go for a walk or go outside as long as you keep a distance of 6 feet from other people.

9. The economy is likely already in recession.

10. We’ve been through things much worse than this. The Spanish flu killed more people than both world wars combined. Mortality rate for Spanish flu was 10 to 20%. The mortality rate for COVID-19 is nowhere near as high, 1 to 3.4%.

11. Acting civil and rational at this time will end the need to social distance much sooner, if people work together and are courteous rather than buying out an entire grocery store, we will get through this.
