Chief Rasheed Ladoja, the current Osi Olubadan is one of the few uncommon Nigerians. He was unjustly impeached as a Governor of Oyo State making him to lose about a year in favour of an Ogbomoso man, Alao Akala. He spent three years while Alao Akala spent five as a Governor through the help of Lamidi Adedubu. And when Adedubu died, Akala stopped Government executives of Oyo State from using Government money to pay obituary advert. Their was a time he said in the news paper “There is nothing like Ibadan people”

The top civil servants from Ogbomosho and others packaged a serious corruption case with the EFCC against Ladoja. Thank God for the Judgment. If he had lost it would have been a serious disaster. Our enemies would have been taunting Ibadan indigenes that the Osi Olubadan is corrupt. A whole third in command to the Olubadan. May God forbid bad thing.

Ladoja believes in thoroughness almost to a fault. Considering the political terrain in Nigeria, he is not supposed to join politics.

Chief Ladoja was very very successful before going into politics unlike professional rouges who use public monies to acquire houses in Dubai, USA, UK, Ibadan, Ajah, Victoria Island and other places.

Ladoja studied Chemical Engineering in Europe and Secure a big Job with Total Petroleum Company abroad and was sent to Nigeria. When he left Total, he became a shiping magnate. It was the head office of his Shipping Company in London that temporarily served as NADECO office during the turbulent period of June 12. Committed crusaders of June 12 issues like Senator Bola Tinubu were always gathering there to formulate strategies.
