He added that after the kidnappers got together, the bride and groom tried to get out of the car, but on their way down, the bride, Bilkisu, fell down, while her husband, Ismail, did. The carnage turned to rescue them from the gunmen who were running after them, but he also failed, where the kidnappers and ten other escorts were caught by the kidnappers and thrown into the trenches. But an unnamed source told Tropics.ng that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 50 million naira in ransom before releasing the kidnappers.

Tropics.ng correspondent today tried to contact Kogi State Police Spokesperson, DSP William Ayah, to confirm the incident, but was unsuccessful.
