There was a fire outbreak on Wednesday at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, also known as the Treasury House, in Abuja. It was learnt that the fire started about 10.15 a.m. when some workers were already at work. The fire was put out by combined efforts of the Federal Fire Service, FCT Fire Service, Nigerian Navy, Julius Berger, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Fire Departments, and the National Emergency Management Agency.
