Social Investment Program has been one of the best initiative so far because it has to do with the masses. When Osinbajo was incharge, people called it different names, some even said it was a scam, but I believe we can see the analysis. As far as I'm concerned, Osinbajo fully delivered.
GOD bless Nigeria

Yes na. For Senate president and speaker of House to publicly and jointly castigate the program, that means the stench is no longer concealable.... They were just declaring non involvement.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that think NASS members want to have another channel to squandered our money. When Saraki was there, lawan was a member and Gbaja was in house of assembly when both houses sited and approve the NSIP after many briefings and deliberations, now you people are asking for thin after many Nigerians have benefited from this scheme, that's idiocy really. I don't buy this talks from Gbaja and Lawan. They are looking for good side of the people having termed them rubber stamp. So they want to look for a way to find favour from we Nigeria masses

The Social Investment Program is not worth it because majority of the citizens cannot see or feel it.

N2 trillion would have fixed major of our roads, get us stable power supply and a lot more.

It's true that such money would have fixed some things in the country, but know this fact that for as many beneficiaries of this initiative will never remain the same if they are very serious. SIP changes lifes.

You should have read the response. 1.7 trillion was approved but just over 600billion was RELEASED in 3 years. These subtle facts are necessary to know before making conclusions.

This article whether true or not just highlemights one if our problem in this country and that is ignorance.
Worst still, we don't take time to educate ourselves but choose binge and react to headlines, thereby using misinformation to replace our ignorance.
Like I said, I don't know how true her claims are but people would not spend time to read her response but would spend time typing shitty, clueless and ignorant replies.

The SIP is a particular programe of the present administration that will speak for years , it has helped lift millions of poor Nigerians. The Senate should look into expanding it to capture more Nigerians into the scheme.

We have all become doubting Thomas's in this country. We have been given a comprehensive breakdown and links and we've not bothered to crosscheck facts yet we have reached a consensus that it's all lies.
What happened to using our brain power and surfing abilities to ascertain truths?
Some of us did not bother to read yet we gave our opinions anyway

Are your u thinking what I'm think, the same NASS that deliberated this same NSIP in 2016 are saying junk now, this is idiocy. Just tell us you are not seeing anything, no kickbacks and you are dying to squander out of this money meant for people.

That is purely misrepresentation of fact. The programme was well managed and coordinated under the Vice President than now.

It was better off when Osinbajo was in charge in spite of the criticism.Shadiya seems to lack tact and demands that this programme entails even after many months of being in charging Shadiya keeps repeating herself that she's studying the handover note or the essence of the categories of SIP.

Can you believe that? NASS just ate back their word while blaming media house and newspapers outfit for bad journalism. They said they have good intentions. This is the same NASS that deliberated on the intervention before approval in 2016. Gbaja was in lower chamber while Lawan was in upper chamber then under the leadership of Saraki. These people are just funny. A credible NSIP with clear goal.

who are the beneficiary of this monies? the last time I checked, the population of Nigeria is 200million plus, let's even take it as 500million. so if they even share 1million per individual, that will amount to 500million naira and they will be left with more than enough in the trillion they quoted. The corruption in this country especially among our leaders is beyond redemption and until we tell ourselves the truth we will never move forward as a nation.
