Firstly, Thank God the virus arrived here late when the awareness was high and we believe that the virus is real unlike our American brothers. Secondly, thanks to the fact that most of those that has the virus have travel history to high risk area and there were late efforts in place to check them otherwise, if the virus can get to a person living in a face-face house, in congested Ajegunle, the rate it will spread will be alarming just like it spread among New Yorkers when they ignored the virus. See how people are dying like chicken.
I wish the lockdown should continue and govt should do more to the people not just giving them small rice. And lastly, let me call on those good spirited individuals to rise up and do something to their neighbours, I m against donations to the FG or state. If you want to donate to govt, donate to your LG. (imagine what will happen if someone donate 1b to a LG) better still, donate directly to your neighbours. I this applies to Religious bodies, this is the time to show the love you've bn preaching for centuries. Give to your members that have challenges and let members share among themselves. Together we shall win this battle

And last time i checked, the incubation period of the virus is 14 days. Abi there own patients never recover finish.?

They want us to do the arithmetic by ourselves. Anyways, am bracing up for additional lockdown days in Lagos.

I'm interested in the testing capacity of states like Ogun where the virus spread has seemingly stalled, because I dont trust the effectiveness of this lockdown in a landlocked state, with Lagos so close...

There is an agenda afoot to ingrain socialist practices into our society by using this virus to their advantage. I believe that smart people will sort this out and we will return to work, and the economy will recover. Just stop listening to the fear mongers. I am not sure yet which side NCDC is on... Ugh. “We should continue to panic and live in fear until no one is employed and every business is shut down. That way people will be forced into socialism and we can finally kiss Capitalism goodbye.” That’s what they want. I’m not going to live in a apocalypse for 18 weeks!!! There won’t be a civil Nigeria as we know it by then. It would be a lawless nightmare!!! I’ll take my chances with coronavirus! There is no cure for a virus. Stop running from big foot and unicorns.
Get everything back together in one week.
This " flu" incubation period is almost a month. Then it starts over when a new infection occurs.
We are running from germs. I say we stop running and find the people responsible for opening Pandora's box. Wait till you see the uprising against the vaccine it will be millions. I guess the world wide vaccine will be the forerunner for getting everyone ready for the chip and the mark of the beast to come down the road.... you know conditioning the masses!!

Almost all the female nairalanders seem to have lost their minds, with endless arcane conspiracy theories.

How many have so far died of hunger since the lockdown started? If people simply endure this two weeks at least confidence would grow enough for the government to ease the lockdown. Look don't kid yourself, life will hardly go back to normal again unless a vaccine or cure is found, but we can at least slow the spread. That is what the lockdown is seeking to achieve. No one is enjoying this situation but this must be done to slow the spread. Na poor people go suffer pass if e begin spread exponentially.

So we know they are doing their job, I bet 60% of Nigeria never knew we had NCSC or what they do before this

I watched one meeting of govt task force on covid 19 for few seconds, Sanwo Olu wasn't even wearing his face mask, he just hung it round his neck

What I understand with our people is we are hungry.every one keep shouting we are hungry people finding it difficult to adhere to stay home rule.but my fear is if D's virus goes off from dose top elite to a common man it will be hard to be controlled cos we don't even have enough bed space and facility for treatment.atleast let us learnt from dose countries who have suffer alot from D's virus.wuhan the origin of the vurus release there lockdown after 71dys and no more cases recorded from that province.i just wish Nigerian can stop hoping food will come from our government and just endure till ds virus of a thing goes off.
