Phew! guess i've gotten enough tips here already. my baby is just 5 months old and i've already began thinkin how ill cope with her thick hair. Unlike most babies her age who would stil have lots of curly hair, my baby is already wearing hers out, it now looks like an undergrowth beneath a permed hair, thick n full. At this age its already a thug of war slicing the hair into puffs, for me to make a neat line sef is agidi. My hubby is already beginning to question why i cant let her be. Im hoping to keep h

have U tried using hot-comb?
it straightens and softens for the time needed for styling.

your good for not relaxing her hair, i dont understand why some mothers are soo quick to slap potentially dangerous chemicals on a childs head!
Blowdryer! very important for stubborn hair! whatever anybody has told you- grease and oil is VERY BAD for afro hair!
buy oil free moisturisers and glycerin

try hairstyles that will last at least 2-3 weeks on her hair, while giving you space to moisturise it, like tiny plaits and twists. dont do her hair to often because its uncomfortable- a waste of time and could be giving her a headache
I always wore braids throughout school, had wicked hair and my mom never had to bother!
