Even at that, Nigeria is not the only the country that have welcomed medical assistance from China. US, UK, Italy and other European countries all have Chinese doctors helping them out at the moment. If I ever contract the CoronaVirus, I won’t care about the race of the medical personnel attending to me. What is paramount to those down with the virus is how to get the best of medical care. You guys should stop playing politics with everything.

Very wrong. FIRS will do tax audit. At that point, they will add it back to the profit if the CSR is not in line with the law. Thereafter, additional tax assessment would be raised.

And to the best of my knowledge, donations for Covid-19 is not included in the allowable donations specified in the Fifth Schedule to the Companies Income Tax Act or by an Order of the Minister of Finance amending the Fifth Schedule to the Act in exercise of the powers conferred on that office in line with section 25 (6) of CITA to include it. FIRS will not allow it. Period.
