The OP is correct in all points about German. I had lovely experience about Germans within my last 6 months. I have a personal parrol jobs that made me in contact with many of the Germans. My experience has been superb with below supporting facts. 1. They mostly live a personal and private life. Infact, they take time to study you before geting used to you. They can keep to trusting you in every angle immediately you get used together. 2. They are very nice people. I had several personal experience I cant share all here. I remember a lady packing beside to drop me off at an airport jus seeing my worried nature on road. She kept asking my fearing on the wheel. It was a one of the great experience with German that I cant forget. 3. They are opened minded. Very straight forward and can keep to promises. I had lots still keeping to their promises till now, even with the covid 19 lock down issue. 4. They are very friendly. Though, sometimes few may look racist due to their privacy nature. Like not trying to keep a body contact on train, standing for you when situation seems inconvient for them in bus or keep a smiling back response when trying to show a request for an excuse. Generally, they are cultured and warmly. 5. Meanwhile, they are blunt to show their dislike if they are not interested in you or your work. You will definitely know with their immediate negative remarks. They are very blunt. Indeed, it has been a great experience as an international student. 2 Likes |

Its very possible to learn German on your own. Let me tell you how I got to be able to read German. I came across a YouTube channel, where they tell shot stories in German then translate it to English, then also have a section for building sentence with important words and they teach you how to pronounce German words. Trust me, it's really fun. Free to check them out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkRMaAbvfl0 |
