“The Federal Government can support the states with up to 30percent investment for urban water schemes. The minister further lamented that states government, over the years, have been paying lips service to the provision of water supply Nigeria states have been lazy about this issue. Hopefully states with common sense partner with the FG to provide water. The sad part is the people dont even make this an election issue. Lol they'll watch their states build churches, mosques, stadiums never caring to expand public water utilities. Case study: Akwa Ibom cut the water boards budget but found billions to build a church. It's amazing what's prioritized in Nigeria. Front page: Lalasticlala 2 Likes 1 Share

The government needs to disclose which 5 or 6 states are going to be picked. The criteria on how their picked is also needs to be known. After that what are the plans for rest of the country. |

Another water loan? I don't think the world Bank can count the number of water related loans Nigeria has taken from it and zero potable water anywhere |

Lol there's no reason it shouldn't be 24/7. Even power outages aren't a good excuses if they build water towers. The water will run temporarily until the pump works again. If they're really planning on doing this they build pipes connecting homes to the utility. After that charge the customer for service.
