IF testing kits are not sensitive and specific to detect the virus at the early stages of the disease, it means the world is in on a very LONG THING. We could be faced with a pandemic that could go on for over a year if no vaccine is produced or a cure is developed as soon as possible. May God help humanity survive this coronavirus pandemic. 31 Likes 1 Share |

NaijaRoyalty: Like I said, you have comprehension problems.. If less than 100k people are yet to be tested and we already have 200-300 cases, don't you think the numbers of infected people will increase in folds should millions of Nigerians get tested? I guess na evening class you attended. Try and look for another person to pick on cos day or night, you are too small to argue with me 44 Likes 5 Shares |

The problem could be solved by performing 2 tests 2 weeks apart while the patient is quarantined within that period. Developing a home kit test that can be used by anyone will be a game-changer as people can check themselves before leaving home for the day. 7 Likes |

When you see a virus with a sphere shape with spikes pointing every direction you should discern it is a serious virus. There are now three strains discovered; L, S and another discovered in China last week said to be 45% more aggresive than the earlier; God please send solution as this is getting beyond human wisdom 7 Likes |

This is the problem when you start using rapid test kits 1. False positives: someone who is negative and the test shows positive is quarantined and kept with people who have and is exposed to it 2. False negative: someone who has and the test shows negative and is free to go. This person walks around and infected others freely. But what is done in some countries is molecular testing and not the rapid testing using antibody count. This shows exactly if the virus is present. This is doing in Nigeria. To make sure people are finally healthy, Nigeria tests the poo of the person. As taking a nasal swab doesn't work anymore since the virus might have moved to the lower respiratory system and the lungs. So as long as the poo shows presence, we don't discharge here. This is also the reason for the lockdown, stay home, if anyone 1. Falls sick, the person is tested and if positive, quarantined and the immediate people he/she isolated with are tested 2. If the person does not fall sick i.e asymptomatic, the virus will pass through. If the person spreads it, the same is don't for his immediate peoplebisolated together. 36 Likes 3 Shares |

helinues: Knowledge is killing you, that's why you're trapped but I'll appreciate if you can answer these questions; 1.How come there's no cure and in Lagos about 50 cases has been released with report that they're well? See, Government takes opportunity of any death now to scare people of the virus and they now gullible Nigerians will fall for it. How come it has not killed any government official in spite of their engagement with their active travel history lately before lockdown? 11 Likes |

this is a serious issue, they are saying even test kits are not that effective and some muntulus up there ^^are arguing over irrelevance we cant properly test it, we don't have a cure for it, we don't have vaccination against it, some dumb people outrightly don't believe in it . 4 Likes |
