The Senior Special Adviser to The President on Social Investment Programme (SIP), Ismaeel Ahm ed was invited on an NTA programme this morning to shed more light on the actions of the presidency towards the welfare of Nigerians during this Covid-19 pandemic. A viewer asked about payment into the account of Nigerians via BVN to help in cushioning the hardships that would be felt by Nigerians during this period. The SSA replied that the President only mentioned payment to Nigerians on the Social Register and Tradermoni.
This now leaves me to question that "What happens to Nigerians In the lockdown states whose existence and family depends on daily means of survival and are not on this so-called Social Register?"

What do you Nairalanders think? Let's discuss wholesomely and objectively.

NB: The signs showing really indicates that the lockdown will be extended.

I am even looking beyound the social register because of the unusual situation we are in presently. There are vulcanizers, Carpenters, petty traders, mecahnics, drivers, conductors, etc who survive by their daily earnings. How are are they going to survive during this time when only what the government is concerned about is the so-called poor of the poor. The government isn't showing consciousness to the fact that the daily survival earners have also become the poor of the poor during this lockdown.
