The Pan Nigeria Presidency of Igbo Extraction Coalition PANPIEC has felicitated with Christians and her members all over the world as they mark 2020 Easter celebration.
In a statement, the Group's Spokesman Prince Erondu Uche who bagged 'African Man of the year' award this year in Asia called for prayers from Christian Leaders against Covid-19. He also commended the efforts of Nigerian medical Doctors in saving lives.

We wish to felicitate with Christians and PANPIEC Members all over the world as they celebrate 2020 Easter which signifies the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

This is a time for sober reflection as we are now witnessing strange happenings on earth - Coronavirus Pandemic, fear and threat to human existence. We wish to encourage Christians who will not be able to gather together as usual to perform this years celebration. It is for a while. The holy book says, 'in all things rejoice'.

We urge all Christian Leaders and all to pray without ceasing. Let us all pray to save our world. We believe that God has power over all, including all viruses .

We advice all Nigerians irrespective of political party affiliations, creed, status or profession to support the federal government to combat this threat to our existence. We commend the effort of Nigerian Medical Doctors at all levels and other health workers in putting their lives at risk to save lives even in the midst of limitations. We advice all to observe all safety rules as prescribed by health professionals. Let us also continue to help the poor and needy especially during this lockdown. This is God's work as well.

Finally, we pray that the Almighty God will save us all from this monster, amen!
