Five Lessons on the Death and Resurrection of Christ 1. He was hated and persecuted for doing His Father's wills: And so we must endure hatred and persecutions for His sake. 2. He died a shameful death as it was written hundreds of years earlier: And we must be prepared to die for the sake of His name. 3. He rose on the third day and was transformed into a glorified body: And so we will become like Him at resurrection. 4. He ascended into the heavens and is seated on the right hand of God: And so we will be caught up with the Lord in air, we will be with Him forever. 5.
