So I wanted raw black pepper. But didn't know if the people in the market would know the English name. So I searched for the Igbo name and found out it's called uziza.

I went to the market and told a lady that I wanted to buy uziza, and she gave me what you are seeing in the first photo.

A week later, being today. I went to the same woman and said I wanted black pepper, and she gave me what you are seeing in the second photo. I didn't bother to look at it until I got home since I bought a lot of things today.

I have never used this spice before, and do not know what it looks like. I only decided to buy it because of its health benefits.
Please if you know this spice. are any of these black pepper?
