There are so many misconceptions out there about the Coronavirus donations. I think, It is important to know that the Federal Government is not directly in charge of the funds according to my findings.

The billions donated so far by individuals and private sector is been handled by the Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) headed by Aliko Dangote.

CACOVID is a joint effort of the private sector leaders to support ongoing Government initiatives in the fight against Coronavirus and it’s core objectives involves the creation of testing, isolation and treatment centers nationwide.

...and they’re doing a wonderful job with the funds so far.

CACOVID is setting up top-notch isolation centers across the nation to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

The videos below are the facilities completed so far in Port-Harcourt and Kano with the aim of setting up similar Centres in all the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT.

The money should be used wisely

I see, they gave out with right hand and collected double their donation with left hand. Forget this isolation center story, only one-tenth of the donation will go into the isolation story. The rest of the balance will be shared amongst themselves including Buhari. No be Nigeria again, we know as e dey happen.
