The life of this innocent young Nigerian ��, was cut short this afternoon by the Nigeria police. He was shot by the popular white hilux (SARS) team at Ezego street, behind New tyre market, Nkpor. There would have been a second casualty, but Mr Osondu was lucky to have sustained only bullet wounds. This incident happened when police team gave them a hot chase but lost out on them and decided to use their guns. The state government had at the end of the last 14 days sit at home order, gave security agencies in the state go-ahead order to arrest defaulters of the state lockdown order. This incident has heightened fears in the neighbourhood and the Onitsha metropolis. The youths are trying to take laws into their hands right now. We pray the Anambra state and the state commissioner of police to sworn into action and fish out this murderous police officer. This is totally unacceptable and this issue shouldn't be swept under the carpet.
