Africa is coveted by the Chinese because of greed. Greed for more land to be annexed and repopulated by hordes of extremely racist Chinese nationals emigrating to Africa. Greed for tropical hardwood lumber, resulting in massive deforestation of prime rain-forest needed so desperately by this planet to forestall climate change, in Ghana, The Congo, Senegal, Gambia and The Cameroons, to name a few nation victims.

Greed for gold that is illegally mined along river banks in Ghana, where poisonous arsenic-laced effluent from that mining is slowly killing off entire village populations, even as numerous open face mines collapse and bury hundreds of African laborers.

Greed for rare and endangered African wildlife, with multiple species currently being strip-mined by impoverished hunters dispatched and financed by the Chinese, who are STILL desperately searching in vain for a magic potion that will enlarge their pitifully tiny bedroom tackle.

Greed for the meagre earnings of poor Ghanaian villagers, whose children are being groomed by Chinese gambling machines, to become gambling addicts that drop out of school in order to pilfer their parents money so as to feed those Chinese one-armed-bandit gambling machines now infesting even the most remote African hamlets.

The problem is that China knows those heroin addicts, and they'll always ensure that that they give them their drugs. BTW, kicking the nation that controls 60% of the world's financial transaction is quiet dicey. Africa is always calling them to build our infrastructure, we're just slaving for those guys.
