There was panic in Ekiti State following the State on Friday night, April 16, had recorded a new case of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the state to 3. According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced one case in Ekiti State, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 493. NCDC made the announcement on its official Twitter account. The new cases are spread across the seven states as well as Abuja, the country capital.
