Constable, corofo, village people have finished work on this one's head. He was celebrating his escape from poverty through securing police job without knowing that the village people have another plan for him. I pray he comes out of this with the necessary lessons.

If there was any opportunity to escape justice, this press release by Ogbonna has sealed off that possibility.

The useless Constable should be HANGED, while Nigerian Police should compensate the dead family with N10 million Naira only. That is the only way police will be free or else the spirit of OHAFIA WAR DANCE from Okon Aku will visit all policemen in Ohafia one after the other until they are all consumed.
Metrix147:
The Abia state Police Command has announced the arrest of policemen involved in sporadic shooting in Ohafia on Friday that led to the death of an indigene of the area, identified as Ifeanyi Arunsi.

The State Police Command said it received with nostalgia the news of the shooting incident in Ebem Ohafia by a team of policemen led by an Assistant Superintendent of Police, saying the team were neither on duty nor on COVID 19 preventive assignment.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7LT57yr548
In a release signed by the command's PRO, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna on behalf of CP E. Ene Okon on Saturday made available to ABN TV, he said the team went out in a private car belonging to one of them to a drinking joint where they got drunk and while going back home, the driver hit a truck off-loading goods.

"In an ensuing argument between the Policemen and the people off-loading goods, one of the Policemen, a Constable disappeared from the scene and resurfaced with a Police rifle and started shooting sporadically under the influence of alcohol during which, bullet hit the victim on the buttocks.

"This singular act and others of same nature is regrettable, condemnable and not tolerated by both the Nigeria Police Force and its Abia State Command.

"The Commissioner of Police Abia State, CP E. Ene Okon commiserates with the immediate and extended families of the deceased as well as the entire Ohafia people.

"It is the Commissioner of Police’ sordid appeal to the youths and people of Ebem Ohafia to eschew violence and destruction of Police/government property while assuring that justice must be done.

Honestly, jungle justice should have been meted out to the bastard called police man. Before you know it now, the Nigeria Police Force would just transfer him to another probably far place to continue his lunatic service

Shooting is a worldwide problem nowadays. This news is frustrating, I guess SDGs should pay more attention. So terrible and scary to realise that there are lots of people like that policeman. I absolutely share the position "justice must be done". Rest in peace, man!

It might amaze you to know that the killer cop might still go scot-free at the end of the day, the usual Nigerian way.
Only when our politicians die do people in authority think that something terrible has happened. The life of ordinary people is like that of a cockroach to them.

Nostalgia?

I had to recheck whether I had been getting my definition of nostalgia wrong all along
I did same because I knew English could be complicated. But the officer misused the word.
