Hmmm.

So this is how the world will end?

No new case in Kano? Really?

If the spread in Kano can be controlled, I believe this pandemic will soon become a thing of the past. Because Kano, and the north generally dont seem to agree with the existence of this diseases and such ignorance fuels its spread.

we don’t do much testing so we don’t know to what real extent the pandemic is happening in our communities, especially marginalised groups where poverty is a real problem.”

70 I Lagos in one day, this lockdown will last for at least a year.

This people just focus on propaganda instead of doing the right things. What is so difficult in effective contact tracing and quarantine of all contacts and pcr tests on all contacts to know their status before they are symptomatic?

70 new cases in one day, they will extend the lockdown, then people will revolt due to hunger and come out, then the infection will skyrocket.

Even the stupid politicians will tell people on lockdown to come out for 5000 naira palliative instead of sending money to people's accounts through bvn and the people will get more infections from trying meagre palliative.

Which kain wahala be dis sef? Instead of the new cases to be reducing they are increasing daily.
Now, lockdown may be extended all over the country, government not providing enough palliative, I fear for the days ahead

@ the texts in bold.

Pls, did you just say "what is so difficult" or you are joking? Really?

Even technologically advanced and very organised countries like US and Italy, how did they fare in that regard?

You think it is easy even by yourself to track all your contacts within the past 2hrs, not to talk of a different person doing that for you and for past days? Nawa for una o.

Na wa oh!!!
I seriously don't believe that this lockdown will not be extended.
Our covid 19 cases are still accelerating and it is yet to peak.
Those that have been delivered of the illness are being re infected again.
We are in a dire situation,You can't go out because of covid 19 and you can't stay indoor because of hunger 20. It's like being between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Whichever one you choose is the same, it's either you live or you die.
God help us, Lagos case self is scary.
