Honestly, these guys condemning Umahi here are just being foolish, out-rightly ignorant or just hating unnecessarily. It is quite obvious that Umahi is being proactive and anyone with an above average IQ will commend him rather than condemn him.
The use of the word "fugitive" may appear wrong on the face value, but if you look at it on the context that these people actually "escaped" from states that are supposed to be under lockdown to another state on lockdown--that makes them fugitives!

Before anyone would want to argue any further, here is a definition of fugitive "a person who has escaped from captivity or is in hiding".
