The Nigerian customs service today adopted the CBN exchange rate of NGN361: USD1. For the purpose of car clearing. This would significantly affect car prices in the coming weeks. Before now customs exchange rate for clearing was NGN321: 1USD. Some also believe that the rate might no longer be fixed as it will always reflect what's on the CBN website. |
