Following the resolve of Kano state government choose to relax the the ongoing lockdown from 6am-12pm for Thursday 23rd April only, to allow citizens stockpile foodstuff and other items in preparation for the Ramadan period; a video has surfaced online, showing huge crowd at an undisclosed market in kano who seized the opportunity to purchse food items in the market.

The lockdown is in continuity till tody been Friday 24 April, 2020, many Nigerians having viewed this video are scared on what damage must have been done because of lack of all safety procedures by the shoppers/Resident.

Kano had declared a lockdown last Thursday to curb the spread of the novel COVID-19 in the state. As of filing this report, Kano state had recorded 73 cases, with 1 death.
