The Oyo State Government on Friday indicated that it might return the 1,800 bags of rice donated to the state by the Federal Government as COVID-19 palliative on the grounds that the rice had been infested with weevils.

The state government took delivery of the three trailer loads of rice through the Nigeria Customs Service on Monday.

The Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Agribusiness, Dr Debo Akande, explained that the 1,800 bags of rice from the Federal Government had spoilt.

Social media propaganda governor with is usual stupidity and staged propaganda.

Other states received FG rice from the same source, but only the propaganda governor received bad rice. Lagos collected 6,000 bags and no noise about bad rice.

In fact, what is the meaning of we might return the bags of rice? What a dumb comment. If the bags of rice are really bad as claimed, is getting rid of the rice, not the most logical thing to do? There's no room for "we might return", but of course, the idiot didn't see his own foolery, it's all politics and attention-seeking propaganda.

It must be returned ASAP.

30 Kongo = 1 bag

1800 bags = 54,000 kongos

So the FG is giving just 1 Kongo of rice to just 54,000 people?

Furthermore, 1kongo = 10 cups(milk tin)

54,000 Kongo of rice = 540,000 cup of rice.

And Jesus said, it is finished

Jesu si wipe, o ti pari

Ma Jisus siri, O biliwo

Yesu kuma ya ce, an gama!
