Lol, what's even the assurance that it was Covid 19 that killed this people, they are just working with the predictive contagion, they are not working with real data. Foolish people

28,000 cases. Not 28,000 deaths. All confirmed from tests.

And we aren't testing as much as we should

We suppose to have overcome this problem by now.. some scrupulous elements are making serious money out of the situation from the international community , federal and state govts.

Some very BAD AND DEMONIC GOVT OFFICIALS both at federal and state levels.

And they are ready to keep the status quo for a long time.. to hell with everything else..

And Nigeria reported case is just 3.92% of that. And the fatality rate is 2.46%.
Globally, the percentage of reported cases in Nigeria to the global figure is 0.0388% and the fatality rate is 0.0162%

We shall overcome

Please lead the way. Go and get tested first, then post a picture of you been tested on Nairaland.
Hopefully you might be negative, then others will take you seriously.
hello bro, did mine yesterday, sample were collected from the nostrils, throat and then you will be asked to produce sputum in another sample bottle making 3 separate samples, the lab scientist that collected the samples was very courteous at the same time giving a psychotherapy on each procedure she took. Result comes out in 72hrs. Mind you no one allows you to take any picture during sample collection

Did they touch you? Did the WHO make Covid-19 cases increase in Africa suddenly?

Weren't you the ones spreading unconfirmed rumours and conspiracy theories?

exaggerated figures

WHO is compromised, and being heavily funded by those who actually created the virus

Man forget about what might be happening in the US and Europe, ALL THEIR EYES are on Africa. Some have this feverish interest in how far Africa can hold up under a sustained spread of this virus.

Wish Africa can implement, with all sincerity, the recommendations proffered by prof Nwosu in his recent paper. Is it too much if a cure for this virus that has defied the world emerges from Africa?

Ghana has 2500 cases, so what? How many tests have Nigeria done, compared with Ghana? Before you start talking trash, tell me the number of tests both countries have done first. You are not even ashamed that a country of more than 200 million has tested only 8,000 whereas a country with a population of less than 30 million has done more than 60,000 covid-19 tests?

Yohh:
Imagine Ghana having more than 2500 cases and some ignorant and educated illiterate Nigerians are saying the figure in Nigeria is bloated because they don't personally know a friend or cousin infected with COVID-19.

Mbok, have you compared the number of tests both countries have carried out?

Nigeria, with a population of over 200 million have barely carried out 8000 tests and Ghana with a population of less than 40 million have carried out over 60,000 tests.
