Indeed, South Africa is a melting pot of accents and they all feature in the media. In fact, locals attempting western accents on tv are often mocked. Even the hip hop artists do not adopt American accents.

South African accent is even recognized in Ietls.

Nice one. South Africa has many accents though. But almost all of them sound good.

I can't stand the Australian accent though, don't know what it's doing ranking that highly.
