Hmm,it's shameful,if you listen to news now you see them speaking through their noses, parents don't even teach their children our native languages, you hear them speaking horrible english with fake accent,all we do is copy from the western world at the detriment of our own culture, countries like India and Malaysia are where they are today because they maintained their respective cultures,and added western education to it.

Indeed, South Africa is a melting pot of accents and they all feature in the media. In fact, locals attempting western accents on tv are often mocked. Even the hip hop artists do not adopt American accents.
