A video shows a resident of particular community in Kano stopped and robbed a truck transporting a foodstuff through the area. This might not unrelated with the widespread hunger and hardship cause by the total lockdown imposed by the state goverment.
The state goverment last week relaxed the curfew for less than 24 hours to enable people shop for foodstuff for ramadan fasting. The 24 hours period allowed by the state goverment lead to panic buying and stamped which claim the life of at least 3 people.
Food stuffs and groceries had witnessed a spike prices due to high demand and the scarcity of time. A bag of sugar which normally goes for 15,000 was sold at the rate of 25,000 by bag.
This is coming few days after a report claimed there is high increase of mysterius deaths which many believe is caused by hunger and inadequate health personnel.

I believe if revolution must happen in Nigeria, it will likely stem from the North.

They don’t really have the much fear for the security officers.
It is very rare seeing police killing citizen (innocent or not) in the core north like it happens in the south.

They don’t fear police, na police dey fear them.

I pray this kind of thing does not become a lifestyle amongst some people after this whole pandemic.

I hope this government is wise enough to revive and pay huge attention to the agricultural sector

And the foolish policeman couldn't do anything??

All those people that stole from that truck, as they consume those items, it will surely bring about their death. They can take this to the bank
