5 TIPS TO MAINTAIN YOUR SANITY IN THIS PANDEMIC
The Coronavirus (COVID-19), was first reported in Wuhan, China with over 67,000 cases and 3,000 deaths reported, while major countries like the USA, ITALY and SPAIN, have reported combined cases of over 600,000 and over 35,000 deaths, and with reported cases of 1.44 million in over 200 countries.

This pandemic has caused border closure and implementation of strict measures on a global scale In other to contain the virus, most countries and cities are on total or partial lock-down, with offices almost empty, this has forced workers to embrace a remote working system, workers communicate from their various homes with little or no movement during this period of lock-down, reality can easily become a mirage.

Mental Health is the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. The Corona Virus Pandemic is as a swift wind which has shut the doors of many homes, and this has resulted in many being confined in spaces, and they barely see the light of the day.

During this period of isolation, our mental health can easily be affected due to many factors such as depression, loneliness and many other causatives. Our mental health is as important as our physical health. A lot of people miss the life they once thought was ‘STRESSFUL’, while many are beginning to find it difficult to adjust to the life they once thought to be a ‘VACATION’.

Considering our mental health, these five tips would enlighten us on how to survive during this apocalypse;

Keep healthy:Now that most cities in the world are all observing social distancing, as an individual, you could take your time to try out those home-made meal recipes you’ve always wanted to cook, eat foods rich in Vitamins and essentials nutrients, an easy way to help your body and mind stay alert is by taking lots of veggies to boost your immune system, while you also have to drink a lot of water, and don’t forget to sleep well during this period, a good 30 min- 1-hour sleep daily during the day.
