Why do you think farmers would earn more than they are earning before? What will change? Will people eat more food after the crisis or will there be a price increase?

You also mentioned supply and demand. If people are losing jobs and businesses closing, would there be more demand for food or less? Also if more people go into farming, won't that cause an increase in supply? And if there's an increase in supply and less demand due to job loses, shouldn't price be coming down instead?

there's a reason why clothing is among the basic needs of man. With or without recession, food, shelter and clothes will always sell

It appears this is the time to invest in food or any item that will end up on a dining table.

The demand for food may not increase but it will also not reduce.

Don't forget we still import some food items here in Nigeria.
