this is a long write up, but that line says it all, ; for the people to be locked down you must provide them with palliative to seat at home not your(fg) poorly and nepotically distributed palliative..I tell you that until this argument is settled the whole thing makes no sense. shekina

Lockdown isn’t working so he should just relax it.

It's not countries like our's that can genuinely provide palliatives to those in dire need of it: No demographics coupled with underrated level of corruption in the state.
Mind you the ruling class has successfully impoverished the average citizen that nothing the leaders say is worth believing, since the average man basically provides virtually everything for himself; from electricity to security, water, healthcare, transportation, etc. One doesn't even feel safe in his own country again.

You adopt 'lockdown' but forgot to adopt the standard/basic lifestyles those Nations provided for their citizens.

Let me not even mention its impacts on the country's economy.

So you're left to choose between either increasing the lockdown to a level of anarchy and economic plunge or adopt new measures that will see the average citizen fend for himself whereas taking necessary steps to keep him alive....afterall, life here is enough risk!
