Nastan:thanks so much, already done that with the help of skeptia . pls bro, how can we order for gcms to get it within three days for someone that already used agent bf , so as to know the docs submitted for him ,to avoid issue on next Application? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chocs(f): 10:53am On Oct 16, 2020 |
Hello Godsblessings You can’t get your gcms notes in 3 days. You apply for it and wait for them to send it. There’s no way to “rush” them or make them send it within a specified time. I think the earliest receipt of gcms notes I’ve seen is 2 weeks. Note that it can even take up to 30-35 days to receive it. Best wishes Godsblessings: |

Hello Ifelajulo Your case saddens my heart. What if they ask for an updated letter of acceptance and you can’t provide one? My advice for you now is to apply asap to other schools. If they course is same, fine. If you can’t find the same course, apply to the closest course. So that if an updated letter is asked for, you can send it and also attach a letter of explanation to explain what happened if needed. Staying without any admission and hoping that the SP is granted is risky. Best wishes Ifelajulo: 2 Likes |

Yes, I did an evaluation of my landed property. it was done by a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuers. The charge is 10% of the property cost. You may further bargain to see if they can reduce it. But 10% is the standard. All the best! Oghogho1313: |

Noms11:The issue of Applicants having issues with their UPFRONT Medicals bin updated on their Profiles can't be ruled out. Like I said initially, no two application is the same. When I did my Upfront Medical, it was the same day I forwarded the E-medical Sheet to them (via Webform & Nairobi E-mail Address). I was even expecting them to Update it in my profile within 3-days, not until 2-weeks later bfor it got updated on my CIC Profile. I can remember someone here said he/she sent incessant Webforms to CIC Nairobi & also mails to CIC Nairobi's Email address, before getting the Upfront Medical updated in his Profile. I think COVID-19 Pandemic is the cause of all this, cos before the advent of AIP, there is a kind of breath of Fresh Air when an Applicant gets a Medical Request. Like IRCC said " They can't assure anyone on how soon an Applicant can get a response/update on their application, the COVID-19 Pandemic has made us not able to process applications speedily" In my own opinion, Since u av an AIP, u shouldn't av a problem doing an Upfront Medical. |

Lekiboboe: Thanks @Lekiboboe for your swift responses all the time. I’d wait till the end of October and if nothing changes, I’d go ahead with the upfront medical. |

Jayne07: I did mine at IOM Migration Health Assessment Center. The medical center is at No 1 Isaac John, Ikeja and this is not far from Maryland round about. If you are entering a bus, just tell the conductor you are going to Isaac John in Ikeja. i think the next 2 bus top. you will have to drop and cross to the other side of the road into Isaac john. You will do a little bit of walking but not too long. It is along the road and the first building you will see on that street. NOTE: If you choose to use IOM,make sure you make your payment before you go there and go with your international passport and evidence of payment and face mask. From my experience, they are fast in sending medical result to the embassy. There is another medical center Qlife family clinic at VI which is cheaper but i can only speak of IOM. Hope this information helps. |

Good afternoon house, I want to ask a couple of people who received BVL yesterday if they have received any further correspondence from IRCC. Decision typically follows same day or next day at most, after receipt of BVL. May we all have reasons to smile soonest. |

Hello house, I submitted my application on September 1st and I conducted upfront medicals on September 16. Is it advisable to wait for medical request before uploading the paper giving to me at the health centre or can I upload it before then. |

Jayne07: I paid 46,500 naira thats becuase i fall into the category of age range 15 years and above. You might not be able to get them on phone, i also found it difficult gettting them on phone maybe due to the fact most staff are working from home but they respond to e-mails. Send an e-mail to IOM Lagos Medical Booking <iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int> and they will respond. All the best. 1 Like |

Gunbi:That's the essence of u doing an Upfront Medical, u are to send the E-medical Sheet u got from the Health Center (IOM or Qlife) via WebFrom to IRCC and IRCC Nairobi E-mail Address See Webform link below: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Nairobi and also send it to the Kenya, Nairobi Immigration office email address: nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca See the Link below for the Message content (body) that will go along side your E-medical Sheet to IRCC Webform & IRCC Nairobi Email Address https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/260#93174797 1 Like |

Hello All, So the update on my cic portal has finally reflected medicals passed since July when I applied with upfront medicals. Sent the upteenth email and completed webform severally; the last of which was sent before I went to bed last night. Woke up to see the update. Thanks to everyone for their advise and input thus far. Now awaiting receipt of my notes. It is 30 days today but when I chatted them up yesterday they said I should wait another 10 days. Crazy stuff. This journey is definitely not for the faint hearted. By the way do you guys know if these guys are attending to tourist visa applications at all? I want to put in an aplication for hubby so we can all go together to help me settle in and all. It will end in praise. Eilenora: 3 Likes |
