Hello Semisolasola, You can renew your passport before applying. Abuja headquarters can renew your passport even if you have 6 months or more left on it. You just have to write a letter stating why you want to renew before time with evidence (eg admission letter). Best wishes Semisolasola: |

Hello oluwatosin12345, Diploma is a NO as it won’t show any academic progression. They need to go for something higher than a BSc. If the person has a 2.2 or 3rd class BSc, Post graduate diploma or post graduate certificate is the way If the person has a first class, 2.1, or first class/2.1 average in the last 2 years of their BSc they can go for an MSc. Best wishes oluwatosin12345: |

ehiremen2002: Hi, I believe you have done a great job explaining how your available funds exceed your expenses but in my own view as as stated in the GCMS note, you could not convince the VO your genuine intentions because the inclusion of your uncle's account is not sufficient enough. The question is, were you able to link your relationship with him, did you explain how he generates his income, what responsibilities lies on him and did he provide a proof of his intention to sponsor you because for him to what to commit his hard earn money on you, it must either worth it or he get excess to throw away. Lastly, I don't know what you feel in your family history. This also go along way to explain your intention because for me, you have what it takes to sponsor yourself than making claims that you will be living with someone there. I have only stayed a few days here and I can tell you that you need money to survive here and this people don't want you to stress yourself or put stress on anyone as well...... Just my own view to address your concern. 2 Likes |

Since they can expect you to pay for getting a voter's card, I am not surprised at all. This is the reason I don't have a voter's card. They made the process difficult just for politicians to rig and the government staff to make money from the self-induced poor processes. MadeMan01: |

Hello fixoo, Welcome, you’re in the right place at the right time. You can choose to do your visa application yourself. Everything information you need is available on this thread. You just have to dedicate time to reading and assimilating it. While reading, if you have any questions, you can ask on the thread and you will get answers. At the bottom of this page, you’ll see numbers, if you click on page 1, it takes you to the first page of this thread. The list of documents you need and the right place to upload them are stated there, you can also read through the whole thread to learn from people's experiences and also see answers to questions asked by others. In summary, below are the requirements for a study permit/visa. Valid International passport Digital passport photograph (according to the specification given) Letter of acceptance (admission letter) Medical examination (if required, depends on what country you are in) Biometrics - finger print and photo capturing (you will get an email about 24 hours after your application, asking you to go for it) Home ties - things that can compel you to return back to your country after studies (you need to show them you will return even if you don’t plan to) example landed properties, stable job, business documents Proof of funds- bank statement with adequate money, and proving the source of the income. For example if you are employed you should include payslips, letter of employment etc. If you are an entrepreneur, you should include your business registration documents, tax clearance certificate and the likes. Or that of your sponsor if you’re using a sponsor. Sponsorship letter from sponsor too if you’re using a sponsor. Client information a.k.a Other documents: any other thing you feel might increase your chances of getting the document. Previous awards, statement of purpose/letter of explanation, pension statement if you have, transcripts, degree certificate etc Home tie related documents are also uploaded under client information. Your statement of purpose/letter of explanation is an official letter you write to the visa officer, you’re basically selling yourself, telling them why you want to study in Canada and why you’re a good match for it. More info about it can be found on page 1. Best wishes fixoo: 3 Likes |

mcobex: Thank you. But it seems it applies to those with PPR. She talked about tracking number. I don't have one for my kids. Or does it apply to all cases. I will appreciate the clarification. Thank you. |
