What is the Corona virus?

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by coronavirus 2 of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). The disease was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, and has since spread across the world, resulting in the ongoing 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. As of April 27, 2020, more than 2.97 million cases have been reported in 185 countries and territories, resulting in more than 206,000 deaths. More than 868,000 people have recovered.
How do you come to be infected?

Common symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, and loss of smell. Although most cases result in mild symptoms, some progress to viral pneumonia, multiple organ failure, or cytokine storm.

The most worrisome symptoms include difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, confusion, difficulty waking up, and bluish skin.

The time from exposure to symptom onset is usually about five days, but can range from two to fourteen days.

How the virus spreads.

The virus is spread mainly between people during close contact, often through small droplets produced by coughing, sneezing, or talking. The drops generally fall to the ground or onto surfaces rather than staying in the air for long distances. People can also become infected by touching a contaminated surface and then touching their faces.

In experimental settings, the virus can survive on surfaces for up to 72 hours. It is most contagious during the first three days after the onset of symptoms, although it may spread before symptoms appear and in later stages of the disease.

The standard method of diagnosis is by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) of a nasopharyngeal swab.

Computed tomography of the chest can also be useful for diagnosis in individuals where there is a high suspicion of infection based on symptoms and risk factors; however, the guidelines do not recommend its use for routine screening.

How to prevent the deadly virus.

Recommended measures to prevent infection include frequent hand washing, keeping physical distance from others (especially those with symptoms), covering a cough, and keeping hands unwashed away from the face.

Additionally, the use of a face covering is recommended for those who suspect they have the virus and their caregivers.

The recommendations for the use of facial coverage by the general public vary, and some authorities recommend not using them, some recommend their use and others require their use.

Currently, there is insufficient evidence for or against the use of masks (medical or other) in healthy individuals in the general community.

In addition, masks purchased by the public can affect the availability
