HOW TO SELL ANYTHING

7 Laws of salesmanship.

1. DON'T JUST SELL A PRODUCT; SELL A FEELING.

Find a way and make an emotional connection between your customer and your product. It has been proven that Customers purchase a product because they 'feel' good about the product.

Ever wondered why companies advertise products with gorgeously looking women even though most times the products are strictly for me? Sell Joy, sell humour, sell happiness, and your product will sell itself.

2. SELL BENEFITS TO CUSTOMERS

Customers want to know how your product will improve their situation. So when you describe your product, connect the features of your product with customer benefit.

Never sell a thing without first creating an extra benefit to customers. By highlighting benefits in marketing and sales efforts, you’ll increase your sales and profits.
Examples of benefits are, safety, easy to use, affordable, long lasting etc.

3. PACKAGE! PACKAGE!! PACKAGE!!! No matter what you are selling, find a way to package it! A good product with a bad package will not sell. If you have ever ordered a product online you will understand what packaging is! Package yourself, package your products and package your services.

4. BE COURTEOUS!
Please, sorry and thank you have sold more products than you can imagine. 'Please' is not as per begging them to buy your product but being courteous enough to accommodate. Whether products will sell or not largely depends on the customer care services.

Dear employers, train your workers to be courteous, it works miracles! The smile on your face, the grace in your tone and the warmth in your laughter will sell your product in ways you cannot imagine.

5. YOUR ATMOSPHERE

How clean and accommodating is your atmosphere? Even if your product is an online service, you can build an atmosphere of comfort around your product.

One major difference between a 'mama put' and a classic restaurant is atmosphere. Where as the woman down the street is battling with flies all over her food, the fast food joint up street is entertaining its customer with good music, air conditioning and a clean environment.

6. INCENTIVES
Nothing motivates salespeople and employers like incentives! When you offer people monetary benefits, promotion and reward as incentives, they will sell your products, your company, sell you and your whole family!

My way of saying employees can sell anything with the good motivational incentives.

7. SELL PASSION. One marketing blunder is to be beggarly when selling your product to customers. Don't beg them to buy, make them buy! When they see the passion in your eyes and the motivated sound that's in your voice they will buy. Let them see your passion and you will see their action.

PASSION SELLS PRODUCTS.
