Whose fault that you dont have the face mask etc. Who eats the money meant for procuring these things? Good that you are abroad. At least you will make no excuses there.

Correct as you might be, remember that this is Coronavirus and not Malaria!
Most of the food eaten in the South of Nigeria, are from the North, brought down by Northerners!
By the time they finish infecting themselves, they would spread it to the South of Nigeria, on a daily basis unless their is a complete ban on interstate movements!
But then, the kind of food shortage you will experience in the South, na die!
BTW, l think this Buhari Govt is setting-up Southern Nigeria for "Hunger -Suicide", (at the right time) and the Southern Governors are not cued-in on this.
Food security is non existent in Southern Nigeria (Demand Vs. Supply/Availability).
Southern Leaders better start their own RUGA (not relying on the wicked centre), develop food farms (hopefully Fulani Herdsmen would not graze their cows on it before it matures! ), poultry and Cattle/Sheep ranches.
Dont keep depending on food from Mallams, it is a genocide waiting to happen in the whole Southern Nigeria nd they can easily poison the food sef or rub Coronavirus on it. We have seen videos of these Mallams washing fruits they sell in the South of Nigeria, in dirty gutters.

What happens is you see a normal guy, as a student he hears all these and to him 5k hazard allowance seems okay afterall half bread. When they start practising and their lifestyle changes, they acquire other tastes and the money is not enough. That's when the grumbling starts
