If Chime is changing party, it should be to APGA not ACN. He has Obi to help him along too. Why is the poster switching him to AC on baseless media. Any way media propaganda has always been AC best strategy.

According to media reports, APGA is Chime's backup plan if the ACN doesn't work out for him

It is Chime himself who will determine the best platform that will help his political ambition. Look carefully at what is going on currently and it will be very obvious that those who can only think like 'local champions' will lose out in the end .

Two Action Congress of Nigeria Governors, Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi, have persuaded embattled Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, to join the ACN and run on its platform for 2011 elections.

It was gathered that the two governors offered Chime the ACN ticket in view of the stalemate in the reconciliation between him and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, who hails from Enugu State.

On Saturday, Fashola and Fayemi arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, around 11.29a.m on board a chartered aircraft with registration number ZSPPH and were received at the airport by security details and protocol officers of their host.

The two ACN governors drove in a convoy of Enugu State Government vehicles to the Government House, where they met with Chime who is of the PDP behind closed doors for about one hour and persuaded him to join ACN.

However, Chime‘s response to the offer could not be ascertained as at Saturday evening; while SUNDAY PUNCH gathered that the Enugu governor was also under pressure from Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, to join the All Progressives Grand Alliance between now and Monday.
Fashola and Fayemi left Enugu for Lagos around 1pm onboard the same aircraft that brought them.
Chime was in a meeting at the old Government Lodge with his supporters as at 6pm on Saturday.

Those at the meeting include members of the National Assembly and state house of assembly, local government chairmen, councillors, commissioners, special advisers and assistants of the governor, chairmen and members of boards of government establishments and parastatals.
It was believed that all the options before the governor would be looked at in the meeting, which was slated to last till the early hours of Sunday.
The crisis in Enugu PDP led to the suspension of PDP primaries in the state, with efforts by the National Working Committee to harmonise the party structure between Chime and Nwodo camps ending in stalemate.
