With all the infrastructural decay & unsightly scene in Abia state? Meanwhile there are Airports in Enugu,Owerri,
& neighbouring PH.So what is the economic importance of an airport in Abia state?

This airport thing is another failed PH monorail(by Amaechi) or MKO Abiola Airport project in Osun(by Aregbejegbese).Ikpeazu must be crazy.

This is a good development

We the people of Abia State are happy for this project, and we also appreciate President Buhari for supporting us financially and morally towards making this project a success.

We the people of Abia State also appreciate our able Governor for his resilience and doggedness attitude towards putting smile on the faces of Abians.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is one in a million, and one of the best in the history of Nigeria.

God bless Governor Ikpeazu,
God bless President Buhari,
God bless Nigeria.

shocked

Another scam by Okezie Ikpeazu

The airport will start and end in the picture just like Buhari Nigerian airline started nd ended in the picture were it was drew.

Only God knows the amount Ikpeazu has stolen over this airport project.

If u see any body from Abia tell him/her sorry cos they have never known what gud governance is.
It has always been from one bad governor to another since 1999, From Orji Kalu to Theodore Orji and now Okezie Ikpeazu.

Please I need update on Buhari Nigerian airline that he said it will kick off by the end of 2018, this is 2020 and we have not seen the planes or is there another 2018 that is yet to come

Even Zamfara made noise about airport last year.

This is called project “operation sweep” this is the best way to looted billions they could come up with. Check the team, no pepper work in their table, no water, no mic and of course no media among them to report the meeting.

Abia that has not good road, no payment of salary, owning pensioners for 19 months no single project or ongoing infrastructural maintenance is talking about airport?

When the name of a governor is backwardness what do you expect?

It's a private investment. The government will only contribute land.

Let's see what private enterprise is able to do

In the south east, Anambra and Abia states have the biggest commerce industry (courtsey of the Ariaria, Onitsha, Nnewi, etc markets) and air transportation in these states is necessary for people and goods. The only worry here is maintenance culture. The maintenance problem extends nationwide to other states. But since that of Abia state is a private investment, maybe it'll be better managed than the government.

There is nothing bad if he have the intention of building airport in Abia state but believe me Ikpeazu is a scam.
Through out last year he was running around and making noise with ENYIMBA ECONOMIC CITY PROJECT and today nothing is heard about it again and its now airport.
