See who is talking about debate... Your first post lacks credibility since you can't provide a proof to back your spurious agreement that was signed between SW and the North 54 years ago.

Lagos Port is a property of the federal government of Nigeria and it will seize to be one after secession. Every agreement made by Nigeria government dies with Nigeria (More reason investors don't invest in an unstable country). Investors can be given soft landing but on our terms.

To your last point it was a typo.. I later corrected it... Switzerland is landlocked, Austria too.. And they are Far ahead of some countries with coastline.

Read about Awo's deal here http://saharareporters.com/2012/08/13/northern-muslim-elders-reply-asari-dokubo-go-and-read-your-history

Nope legal agreements cannot be tossed aside just because you secede. When it is now between two countries in the international arena it can't be solely on your terms unless you are as powerful as USA or you pay them in hundreds of billions of dollars as compensation

The SW threw away an opportunity when Jonathan was president...

Southeast is not landlock

Based on the map that Murtala, Babangida and co drew, the so called South East has no direct access to the sea. But the truth is that Igbos in the so called South South have access to the sea. Even if they choose to be in the Niger Delta republic , we will still collabo beautifully and move our goods through their ports which are still two hours drive from the SE and they will get paid wella.

Landlock, yet you all want them to remain in this unserious Nigeria, just let them go so that hunger will finish them since you all forgot that necessity is the mother of invention
stop saying this trash jare! who is holding you? that's when you will be beating your chest. if it was east that formed their security b4 the west now the world would have ended, but since west did it first they have not started. I hate this issue of not letting us go. OK, let me teach you people how to start, one by one you will start to migrate to the east then lets see who will beg or hold you not to go. everything they are waiting for Yoruba, so if Yoruba don't want to go now it becomes their problems. let me tell the Igbo now, if Yoruba make move now the Igbo will dress back. they blame Yoruba for the war and it was you who started the war. if Yoruba started the war now and run away, that's traitor and you started the and start calling names.

Another areas many dumb minds don't know is Igboland is blessed with huge gas deposit and coal in Nigeria, if Nigeria separate Igbos will be opportune to harness their resources, just know East will be first to attain 247 power supply if Nigeria separate, industries in Igboland will boom and Igbos are very industrious.

They don't know and don't care to research how eastern region generated electricity (Oji-River thermal plant) before the war.
Nigeria as a country will be dissolved in future and I pity the so called Niger delta and North because they will become the mini-nigeria where nepotism, tribalism, cultisim and militancy would reign.

Most of them just parrot what they have been fed. They outsource their thinking.

Even if we don't want to count our sea access, the East is the easiest West African gateway to Central and East Africa by land. Those are the regions in Africa that the world is focussing on now

Even without SS, Igbos are covered by international law with River Niger, all that is require is dredging

I pity Yoruba Moslems that are shouting "SE is landlocked"

Abia has direct access to the sea through Azumili, meaning Back of the Sea (Atlantic)

Yorubas that claim they are capable of forming a country is the region that is most scared of the zoo disintegration.

We know what will happen to Lagos and there sea port if foreigners decide to go home.

One thing that is certain is that once the country divides, Lagos will cease to be attractive economically to businesses owned by non-indigenes.

We don't need SS in Biafra. We can't afford Nigeria 2.0 in beloved Biafra.

If it is oil, we have enough to serve our need. We can export gas. Anambra alone has the largest onshore gas reserve in Nigeria.

We have access to the sea through Niger and direct access through Azumili in my state Abia.

We want an all Igbo affairs in Biafra. No single Igbo land will be ceded.

ND should form their own country

Story.

We will roll the ships passing through Onitsha. Asaba at the other side of the river automatically makes it Biafran Inland water.

But it is likely to be declared an international water because of its source but Biafra will retain the right to police the water.

The Danube River was once a long-standing frontier of the Roman Empire, and today flows through 10 countries. The river runs through the 2nd largest number of countries in the world with The Nile running through 11 countries. Originating in Germany, the Danube flows southeast for 2,850 km (1,770 mi), passing through or bordering Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine before draining into the Black Sea.
