On Friday South Africans emerged one by one in the dark of the early morning - and as the sun started to break through it looked like thousands of walkers, joggers and cyclists had converged on the streets that stood empty for over a month.

Under the slightly eased lockdown regulations, people will be permitted to exercise between 06:00 to 09:00 daily, and then return home.

But concerns have arisen regarding social distancing on the first day of the 'Level 4' lockdown.

Cape Town has the highest number of cases amongst all cities,yet you dont see the bafoons practing social distancing. If the country is moved back to level 5,they will be the 1sst ones to bytch all over the place,even threatening ministres with silly court cases.

The sad thing about this is that those people will take the virus to the shops & infect everyone; incl. those who do not have access to better health care facilities. At the end of the day, the poor will suffer the most. Sick & twisted children of sadists.

But then again,they bought a president , and he has instructed for then not to be policed ;

I think lessons will be learned from this first day and the cities will try to avoid these sort of scenes again. Just as police brutality has also been reduced.
