The Executive Director, National Population Council in Ghana has said while having an interview that the country has recorded about 9000 unwanted pregnancies of recent.

Dr. Leticia A. Appiah claimed that this pregnancies recorded were as a result of the three weeks lockdown on the country due to the novel virus, COVID-19.

She added that this number will keep increasing as long as the lockdown still remain as many families and lovers are having all day together.
