The former vice president company, Gotel communication has sacked 48 staff on Friday. Gotel General Manager, Mohammed El Yakub has explained the reason behind the sack of 48 staff in the company.

According to Mohammed El Yakub, this was done as part of the company’s restructuring process. It was recalled that Atiku Abubakar who is the owner of the company whose parent company is Priam Group had disclosed that most of its business will now function Prima Group.

So the restructuring process has led to the merging of the companies that operate under Priam Group which means some of its workforces will be laid off.
