AFRICAN EXPERTISE IS NOT TRUSTED GLOBALLY

Two tweets were posted on a Nigerian platform that reveal how low Africans are esteemed. Just for us to know there is a price WE ALL pay when you are a corrupt politician or official. Plus there is a price WE ALL pay if you are a citizen who tolerates corruption.

Tweet 1 (from European)
“Nice to see African students doing ok in AI [Artificial Intelligence]. But can't they do good stuff back in their home countries instead of going to Europe? It must cost a lot for Africans to study in Europe. Where's the money from? They can't all be on scholarships! Sort out Africa so your Unis [universities] can work”.

Reply Tweet (from White woman)
“The system is so broken because despite expertise on the African continent, the expertise is not trusted globally. Getting an African degree means less. That is not necessarily anything to do with the quality of the teaching at the universities”.

African parents, when our children start hating us for this legacy we pass down to them of humiliation and disrespect that will be poured out on them ALL their lives by the rest of the world, understand the part you played in your children's debasement:
“To SIN by silence when they should protest, makes cowards of men" ― Abraham Lincoln

Nigerian parents, YOU ARE GUILTY! Guilty by not taking up your responsibility to act to create a Nigerian society where your child is valued. Your child is not valued at home, so will not be valued abroad either. You are GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!

I have been saying this here on nairaland,i even wrote a post about it.The older generation especially those of the 40s,50s,60s are a hypocritical wicked generation. That generation are supposed to be our parents but they have bequeated a legacy of shame, poverty and slavery to the younger generation, they ruined Nigeria. They were left a better legacy from the generation behind them but when they came in they destroyed the solid foundation laid for them and returned their children in this generation(people born mainly in the late 70s,80,90s to current) to slavery, that is pure evil, they are a useless shameful generation.Take this case for example, when this issue of chinese maltreatment of nigerians happened,i watched an interview on channels, the presenter was asking an old senator, senator bulkachawa about the whole situation, the old man was just laid back saying the nigerians have to report to the consulate before they can take any action, imagine your youths being harassed as slaves in another nation, they were crying for help an the old man couldnt be bothered, imagine the brazen wickedness. The generation of our parents are a generation of shame. Many of them were poor but the system helped them to rise, instead of building on that system and making things even better for the younger ones, they destroyed everything and pulled down the ladder making the younger generation to struggle bitterly, they ruined the education system, during their time education was standard, but look at what they left for us,see what they do in universities, ruining young girls, they dont give young boys jobs, they use young boys for violence for their own agenda and mock us with it,they destroyed even the family unit, they didnt build anything.and they are never remorseful. The same generation of other races built their country and left a legacy of wealth and success for the younger generation which they are enjoying, while our parents here were enslaving their younger generations. The younger generation of Nigerians are toiling all over the world enduring bitter circumstances of exploitation and suffering which the older generation never faced,i wonder how they can live with themselves,i wonder how they sleep,i wonder how they will die knowing fully well all they have done. The younger generation now have to build from scratch, they left us with nothing, naked and bare. What is even most surprising is that most of them never admit to any wrongs, they keep blaming the youths saying we are lazy. What a wicked generation imagine that no great leader have emerged from their generation in Nigeria. They are all failures, they are all a mess, they are all cursed.
