We are currently looking for a Business Administrator / Legal Counsel. Veegil is seeking a business administrator/legal counsel on our Administrative Team. We are in need of an experienced and motivated Business Administrator to oversee our daily activities and create long-term strategies. The main goal of this role is to maximize efficiency, reduce costs and drive growth to positively impact our customers. The ideal candidate should possess a mix of math, technical and communication skills, as this role involves managing every aspect of the business. Since there are a lot of moving parts, you must have great organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to multitask. The successful applicant will be adept at collaborating with different teams within the company. The administrative roles in this position include, but not limited to, management and support of dynamic, fast-paced projects that span all phases of software development lifecycle (including research, design, development, testing, development operations and support), sales, marketing (including customer acquisition and retention, strategy, branding, advertisement and content development), business strategy and planning, finance (including procurement, budgeting and accounting), legal (including contracting agreements, compliance, counsel and policy - drafting, research, review and analysis), business continuity and customer support. As part of a small team, the candidate will participate in agile-based research of new product growth areas and implementation of products to meet the needs of our customers. You would share your creativity, expertise and innovation, and have a hand in the decisions that affect the direction and performance of the entire company. You will be faced with a series of problem-solving situations on a daily basis that requires team coordination, risk/crisis management and out-of-the-box thinking. Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces Improve integration and streamline business operation. Analyze data and provide business intelligence. Coordinate business planning and strategy Explore opportunities for further growth, integration and adaptation of our business into new and allied domains and new ways to rethink, repurpose and/or rework our (digital) infrastructure and (data) management efforts. Perform day-to-day administration of the business and ensure business continuity Lead customer relationship management efforts Develop and implement product and sales strategies Develop and implement marketing strategies Facilitate customer acquisition and retention Coordinate company branding and advertisement Develop high-value content, literature and other communication materials for sales, marketing, engagement, advertisement and other purposes Manage all company communications and communication operations both internal and external Conduct Finance Administration including procurement, budgeting and accounting Provide legal guidance Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labour law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.) Effectively ensure legal conformity and minimize the probability of exposure Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance. Conduct policy research and analyses Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on legal issues Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation Collaborate with management to devise efficient defence strategies People management - perform functions relating to human resources management Hire and retain highly qualified candidates in the organization Organize and administer volunteers, consultants and other members of the workforce Champion company social corporate responsibility efforts Employ software to achieve tasks and contribute to software development Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Perform all such duties described herein for the organization, its subsidiaries, parents, successors, partners, stakeholders, groups, conglomerates and adjunct companies current and future.
