Covid19 Outbreak Has Exposed This About Nigerian Employers by Rotjijatau(m): 6:57pm On May 05, 2020
The outbreak of this global pandemic known as Covid19 has exposed two sets of employees in Nigeria.

1. First, Those that cannot pay its staff salary just for a month due to no business as a result of unforseen circumstances. What have our so called employers been doing with the huge profits that has been coming into the company's account that it cannot pay just a month salary without business. I have a friend who opened a school in Jos, she kept money in the school account that can pay all her staff salary comfortably for 3years with or without income to the school and I swear her school is one of the highest in terms of teachers salary. I think employers should learn a lesson now from this corona outbreak to be wise in spending after the pandemic.

2. Secondly, Covid19 have exposed wicked employers who have the money yet refused to pay its staff. Some even went as far as sacking some of its work force not because they do not have money but pure wickedness.

Pls add your thoughts.

My dear employers aren't finding it funny this period. With the high rate of job loss across the world, if you're lucky to see half salary just manage it and be thankful to God.

This is why I do advice people to always save for the rainy day, have an alternate source of income and not to be fully dependant on pay checks as pay checks can cease any day.
